Help & Guide

Getting Started
flowreadr is an immersive ebook reader with text-to-speech. Upload an EPUB or TXT file to begin reading with synchronized audio narration.
Uploading Books
Click the "Upload Book" button or drag and drop an EPUB or TXT file onto the library page. Books are stored locally in your browser. Duplicate books are detected automatically and won't be added twice.
Reading
Click a book to open the reader. Text is displayed with optional word-level highlighting that follows the audio narration. Use the chapter navigation to move between sections. Right-click or long-press a word to look it up, and click any word while audio is playing to seek to that position.
Audio Narration
Audio is automatically generated when you open a chapter. Use the player controls to play/pause, skip forward/back, and adjust playback speed. Word highlighting syncs with the audio. Auto-advance moves to the next chapter when playback finishes. Already-read text is dimmed for easier tracking. You can generate audio for all chapters at once and track progress in the table of contents.
Settings
Adjust font size, line height, font family, highlight mode, auto-scroll, and playback voice from the settings panel (gear icon). Enable compact player to save screen space. Auto-delete audio frees storage after chapters are played. The app works offline — install it from your browser for a native app experience.
